Was for =draa's contest, but I think I'm too late to enter it. Oh well~

I could have worked a lot more on it, but it has a simple message, and it should be simple, despite my urge to make it crazy.

When a friend is down on his luck, Lady Elle thinks it's best to give some back to him. It might not be as great as the one he has lost, but the gesture is simple, and heartfelt, and that is all that matters.

She's lucky herself, who knows exactly how much more luck he has gained from her care.

For some reason, I really care about this piece, so critiques are on. I'm still a beginner at illustration... Hopefully you wont be too harsh on me.

I love, LOVE this piece, i saw draa's other entries and this totally caught my attention, why?, well, you didnt went to the easy path of clovers, you got something much more worked.

The thing that impresses me more is the contrast, there's this really cute girl with dark clothes, and this disturbing leg-less bunny, all white (pretty original design on him ;) ).

I'm a fashion-attracted person and i love the design you used on the girl, black and red is a risky match for me, because its a classic and its hard to make this colors to match cool in an unusual way, and you got it.

To finish this, i'm really impressed on the concept, and the design, the fact it doesn't have a background is pretty good, cuz we don't get that distraction. Pretty nice job, it impacts, it's eye-catching, and it's under the contest's theme luck.

oh, this is lovely. especially the girl, she's so cute and stylish. as for critique... well, the boy really fades into the background, they're just too similar in color. seriously, i think you could improve it a lot just by changing the background to something other than white.... @ w@;

Yeah, I see your point. It was suggested that I put a flat shape in the background to offset it.

i love how his foot is missing because it was his lucky rabbits foot. (:

i do agree with Dalia on the rabbit sorta disappearing. just a simple background would due to make him pop out more.
what is that on his other leg? i like it but i dont know what it is. lol
love the small transparency on the umbrella. makes it look very realistic. 8D

XD I got lazy. It's one of those "tasteful" ways to not have to draw a part of something by adding in a surreal drape-cut off. It's part of the drape covering his bunny bits.

maybe you shouldve made it wider so it looks like its covering the foot unless someone cut of both of his rabbit feets. ; D ;

yeah, for a moment i thought his foot was wrapping around her body but it didnt seem right. lol
or i thought he was doing some sort of power rangers kick. XDD;;
